Environmentally Focused & Locally Driven
In 2016, a local NGO called IAMovement introduced a model called the Vetiver Education & Empowerment Project (VEEP), which trained community members on the many benefits of the Vetiver plant, particularly its ability to prevent landslips, reduce surface runoff, and improve soil quality.
